2015 Year of Gathering

Intro – My story / pop Astrology / Astrology for Healing/Growth 

I found Astrology to be a guiding light at a time in my life when many things were topsy turvy. Astrology helped me recognise that I was  in the midst of my first Saturn Return (28 to 30 years of age) AND there was light at the end of the tunnel PLUS a purpose for the ‘crazy’ situations I found myself in.

I wanted a deeper understanding of the mysteries of life and my role in the whole picture – Astrology seemed to help bring clarity and common sense into the various struggles I found myself in. Although the ‘pop’ Astrology of magazines and newspapers were often a bit of fun – I sensed there was much more to this ancient craft/wisdom/language. Pop Astrology does have its basis in the positions & relationships of the planets to each other AND to the general energy of our Sun Sign – MOST people know what their Sun Sign is (the part of the Zodiac the Sun was in on the day we were born). YET if we want to work more constructively with ASTROLOGY we need to have a more refined tool = the Birth Chart.

Energy Balancing ~ Harmonic Healing

The intention & experience (for many) is to harmonise within so that the body can return to optimum health & well-being. This gentle nurturing therapy is one simple way to access deeper states of relaxation & healing.

The client relaxes in a comfortable position & continues to relax deeper & deeper as the harmonic chimes are activated & placed around the body. As the chimes continue to be played intuitively by the practitioner; the body is bathed in a warm cocoon of sound resonance/vibration which assists the client to enjoy subtle shifts & releases of energy blockages. The physical & light bodies are re-aligned with the Universal Resonance, while the brain waves slow down to give deeper states of relaxation as everyday problems/worry/anxiety are left behind.

Many of my regular  Therapeutic Health  Massage clients are now enjoying an extra half-hour of Harmonic Healing on top of their massage. Most have enjoyed the extra healing dimension immensely. Others are finding that just one half-hour Energy Balance/Harmonic Healing brings delicious respite from stress = be it ill-health, over-worked or while facing major life challenges. When performed in a quiet supportive environment this simple, enjoyable & delightful natural healing method works very quickly to bring about deep feelings of relaxation & well-being.

Flipping through my ephemeris this week I discovered a rare Eclipse called ‘A non C’ – it was a term that I had never heard mentioned before and led me on a journey of research and discovery…. this is what I found…

In Life & Astrology amongst the ‘cycles within cycles’ lots of exciting events occur. When it comes to the Eclipse Cycle (often called the Saros Cycle), it has been found that an Eclipse will return to the same sign and house every 18years and the opposite sign and house every 9years. Therefore when we are seeking to understand the significances of an Eclipse in our own Life – look back 18 years or 9 years and check for a link to current circumstances.

 Eclipses are linked to the position North and South Nodes which are known by Astrologers to be symbolic of our Soul’s Destiny – the journey from the ‘comfortable’ & familiar past towards the often unknown future.  It is wise to consult a Professional Astrologer if you wish to discover the relevance of any planetary events to your own Life Path/Birth Chart. There is also LOTS of links between Religion & Eclipses.

This writing is about two upcoming Eclipses important in Australia. The first is a Total Solar Eclipse (a New Moon – Sun conjunct Moon, when the Moon will pass between the Earth & Sun causing darkness) on this Wednesday 14.11.12 at 8.10am- visible in North Queensland Australia and parts of the Pacific. The second is the rare ‘A non C’ event on Tuesday 29.4.14 at 4.14pm (a New Moon – Sun conjunct Moon; Annular, central line does not touch Earth surface) also visible in a wide area of Australia. When investigating these two events I found some intriguing links between the two.

Amma ~ my ‘Huggie GURU’

My first encounter with Amma happened Saturday 17th April 2004. At the time I described it in my diary like this …” at 1.02am after lining up on my knees & waiting at least 4hours (got to venue at 6pm aprox & waited ages to get into hall – then heard a taped speech by Amma on the need for the feminine to reclaim her power as healer & nurturer of all – men, children & planet as her-self).

As I approached Amma I noticed so many others looking adoringly at her as if drugged or ‘high’. . . Then I knelt before her and she clasped my head & drew me to her left breast – it felt so soft. I breathed & relaxed a bit when I realised I was holding back a bit. I felt a lightness like I was resting into a soft cloud;
