U R special, unique, amazing, talented, precious, magnificient, innocent, creative …….& safe ~ just like EVERYBODY ELSE

Welcome back my Love ~ your aliveness is a Gift to the World … I cherish you in my Life!

Unfortunately for many of us, this wasn’t our initial experience – our existence was unplanned or perhaps unwanted by our parents (or that is the impression our ego mind holds). This belief/thought was upheld by a traumatic birth and re-enforced by parental disapproval, difficult school & social experiences … now followed by recurring issues in adult relationships.

Issues of sexual promiscuity, emotional aloofness or ‘overly clingy’ behaviour have been traced to self-loathing & criticism that spills out to others around us and into the wider world. We find ourselves addicted to rejection, or rejecting anyone who genuinely tries to love us. Did you know – You are the Ultimate Healer in your Life (just as I am in mine) and we each have many choices for correcting the lies (based on events at birth & in early childhood) that limit our freedom and bliss. For most of us, the first Separation Trauma was felt at our birth. That experience of leaving the womb and separating from our mother as the cord was cut and we took our first breath. Yet evidence of Separation Trauma is most often
recognised in very young children (0-7years) as they are parted from a parent or someone to whom they have become attached. With this type of Separation Trauma it is common to witness anger, screaming, tears, sadness and devastation as the raw emotions are expressed.

Gradually as we ‘grow up’ we learn to ‘cope’ with this trauma by burying it or hiding it by using various pacifiers. Until eventually we have ‘forgotten’ the existence of separation trauma until we begin to form close relationships (best friends/lovers etc). Mild forms of Separation Trauma can surface when our loved one/other leaves us to go to work each day or away for a weekend or extended vacation. Read the rest of this entry »

Astrology helps us navigate 'The Road of Life'

Astrology is an ancient language of symbols that has been used by humans for centuries to assist with decision making, planning events, understanding themselves and the world around them; and predicting the future.

My use of Astrology as a Natural Health Professional includes drawing on an individuals’ Natal Chart to gauge their current circumstances, as well as past & inner working potentials. I often cast my eye over the current transits for my clients when making appointments for major healing sessions such as Rebirthing/Breathwork.

The dynamics of Fitness Feb include the fact that for most of the month the Sun (symbol of Self in Natal Chart) is in the sign of Aquarius – giving Read the rest of this entry »

Birth is where Babys first impressions of our universe begins

From Baby’s point of view ~ his or her First (and most important) Birthday gathering would best be held at home; with ‘selected guests only’ invited. Home is a place where both parents are likely to be most relaxed, and where extended members of the family are more likely to be on hand to welcome the new arrival.

But, by far the biggest advantage of a Homebirth – is the potential for an amazing and unprecedented level of support from a Homebirth Midwife. Usually an Experienced/Qualified Homebirth Midwife has the wisdom to begin Birth preparation well before the labour begins. Advice and support can be available on diet, exercise and relaxation strategies; as well as the type of Homebirth suitable for the Mother involved.

The planning available with a Homebirth and support after the event, is much more extensive than what is on offer in most hospitals. Read the rest of this entry »

Up until a very short time ago (and still in many current scenarios) few people considered the experience of birth from the Baby’s point of view. The focus was primarily on the expectant Mum and Dad – their hopes for Baby’s future and role in the birth scene. Birthing moved away from the family home and into (often sterile) hospitals; where the procedure became more important than even the parents. For many of us currently alive today, this was the setting for our birth trauma.

Birth Trauma could be likened to the type of reception you receive when you arrive at a party or gathering for the first time – if you feel welcomed and connected to others you are more likely to Read the rest of this entry »

There is so much room in here - I feel abundant & safe

Week 28 I have survived the 1st trimester of pregnancy. Although the pregnancy and my arrival was unexpected – my parents are welcoming to me and adjusting their lives to include me.

Week 30 I am felling quite playful and abundant in the womb – I have everything I need – lots of room to move – good nutrient supply via Mums blood stream – I hear Mum speaking to me tenderly and my Dad loves to put his hand on Mums tummy and feel me kicking from inside – life is wonderful and free and I am feeling loved ands wanted.

Week 36 Getting a bit squashed in here . . . not so much stretching room now . . . . am building up my muscle tone for breathing and moving . . . can hear music and sounds from outside world – yet am safe and secure – just the right temperature in here . . . all is great!

Week 40 I am ready to come out now . . . . I have released the special hormone that begins my birthing. My Mum has practiced her relaxation techniques and breathing, and although a bit apprehensive, she feels ready for this birthing process. My Dad is there to support us both . . . . A bit later I am inside the birth canal . . . Mum has had some discomfort but is coping reasonable OK . . . I am picking up on all the sounds Read the rest of this entry »
