Unfortunately for many of us, this wasn’t our initial experience – our existence was unplanned or perhaps unwanted by our parents (or that is the impression our ego mind holds). This belief/thought was upheld by a traumatic birth and re-enforced by parental disapproval, difficult school & social experiences … now followed by recurring issues in adult relationships.

Issues of sexual promiscuity, emotional aloofness or ‘overly clingy’ behaviour have been traced to self-loathing & criticism that spills out to others around us and into the wider world. We find ourselves addicted to rejection, or rejecting anyone who genuinely tries to love us. Did you know – You are the Ultimate Healer in your Life (just as I am in mine) and we each have many choices for correcting the lies (based on events at birth & in early childhood) that limit our freedom and bliss.  Now that the 28 days in February 2011 are fading into the past, it is helpful to realise that we can utilise the 28 day Moon Cycles (mentioned in Part 2) to continue on our path to improved fitness and well-being.

Fitness Feb – The perfect time to turn your focus into healthy mind/body/spirit. The festive season with all its’ excesses is over; Australia Day celebrations are done for this year, and the children are back in school.

Now we have the smallest month of the year laid out before us ready to be packed full of healthy choices, new behaviours and a rebalance of our energies!!

 Being only 28days long (most years) we can easily achieve our confidence back by following a disciplined plan for optimum health and fitness. Then, as we move beyond Fitness Feb – we are stronger and more confident to continue our healthy habits into the rest of the year.

Here is my yaninayoga ABC of Fitness Feb to help you get started and achieve success .. ..

Assess your situation honestly – what areas of your life need change? Bad habits? Negative thinking? Addictions? Diet? Behaviours? Activities – too much or not enough?

Begin now!! On the 1st Feb have your plan ready and start ASAP. Or BEGIN as soon as you can.
